Atheist: Written in lower case, unless punctuation requires capitalization.
“a”- without. ‘theism’ – belief in gods. Thus an atheist is somebody without
belief in gods. Any gods. All gods. It says nothing else about the person,
their rationality, their ability to spell or even about other weird beliefs,
which they may hold. Atheism is a broad bed indeed, and has to be, as it
holds everyone from the doubtful vicar who has lost his faith, through most
forms of agnostics, all the way to the person who asserts that there are no
gods, even if they are not quite sure how to prove it.

Ethics: A formal system of behavior governing the relations between men,
largely useless unless understood and applied with rational intent.

Gods: Imaginary monsters, invented by exceeding clever men to keep the serfs
in line, and accepted by the less than clever as a substitute for good
answers and perhaps even for good questions.

Morality: What a man asserts to be the absolute natural order of the
Universe as proclaimed by his gods, conveniently communicated to him via his
parents, who usually disagree with everyone, with the possible exception of
their most immediate neighbors, over exactly what the gods said.
