A man in Florida is told to return his car's license plate. Why?
Because he ordered a vanity plate that reads "Atheist". He's had the
plate for 16 years and is now being told that it violates regulations
setforth by the Florida Dept. of Motor Vehicle. He also happens to be
the vice president of an atheist organization in Florida.

That said, you shouldn't be surprised that you can order a vanity plate
that reads "Choose life" from the same state-run agency. Notice the
"Distribution of Special Fee".

This is the first time I've ever seen a vanity plate that endorses a
political stance of this nature. Has anyone else seen vanity plates of
this type? If so, which state? Just curious.
