The way I see it, the pursuit of cryogenics is just something that many
Extropians are interested in, not really a defining trait. Extropians
(as their name says) really just want to improve. A public organized
statement of what they stand for:
http://extropy.org/ideas/principles.html

It boils down to these 7 ideas -
1. Perpetual Progress
2. Self-Transformation
3. Practical Optimism
4. Intelligent Technology
5. Open Society
6. Self-Direction
7. Rational Thinking

A public statement of Virian principle might be the sins and virtues
section of the website.
Sins:
Dogmatism
Apathy
Hypocrisy

Virues:
Reason
Empathy
Vision

I think it is true that Extopians are more individually focused than
what I've seen here, but I see lots of similarities. I think most
extropians would agree with those "sins and virtues". How many different
ways are there of having a stable group of responsible, reasoning people
in a modern technology or higher society?
