One question: I am unsure as to what the organization means by
"Biotechnology can make us smarter, happier - and nicer. Post-Darwinian
superminds can abolish "physical" and "mental" pain altogether." I am sure I
can guess by biological senses, that it may make us smarter due to gene
therapy; however, I cannot see reasoning of removing pain from our
existence. There are obvious pros and cons, but I question the need to
abolish such pain, and to completely rewrite us as human beings to make us
more empathetic? World peace and 'free love' is a wonderful idea and all,
but I wonder if we would not become mindless robots? Or perhaps, membots?
....call me a stupid teen for having such, how should we say, worries?
