Should anyone want to renew their original sense of awe at the
collection of folks that comprise this congregation, try the following
exercise:
Pick a date randomly in the last few years, preferably pre-9/11, and
spend a few hours reading the list archives.
If the threads on your first pick don't do it for you, pick a different
date.
You will soon find yourself engrossed, or grossed out.
But you won't be bored.
