Unfortunately, if several members of the list wish to continue attacking
me or countenancing such attacks, they will simply engage in mutual
jury nullification regardless of the merits of the case. I think that it is
more than likely, considering the recent email traffic, that this will
indeed happen, and such action would negate your law in my case, and
declare open season upon me. I feel that this situation can only be
fairly dealt with if the sheriff also assumes judge's robes and engages in
a judicial decision in the matter.
