Nice idea, but it wouldn't work. People won't like the notion that they're not in control of what's happening in their head.

Come to think of it, I think there are 'clinics' under the control of fundamentalist christians which try to turn gays into heterosexuals - a form of brainwashing. So I guess it's possible if the subject has a strong meme wanting to get rid of a weaker meme. I know that I, personnaly, would love to get rid of my procrastinating tendencies.
