Philosopy and God are third order reductions.

What is the origin of the both of these constructs? The nature of these
constructs is that they ONLY exist in the mind of H.Sapiens. In the
mind............hm...........

Call me silly, call me reductionist, hell you could even call me Cartesian,
just don't call me Calvinist.

Of the mind by the mind, for the mind, of H.Sapiens. Philosophy becomes
distranctionary at this level, and not pertinant. The nature of the
Dysfunction of Relgious Behavior becomes the purvue of the study of behavior
and of the mind.

Yes, I said that. Religion is a mental dysfunction, a maladptive behavior.
But I over specialize. Belief is a dysfunction, a maladaptive behavior.

All philosophy does is enable this maladpative behavior. Philospohy is an
attempt to buttress the purpoted ineffible quality of belief.

The God of Philosophy
A new book from TPM!
What can we know about God?
For centuries philosophers have argued about the existence and nature of
God. Do we need God to explain the origins of the universe? Can there be
morality without a divine source of goodness? How can God exist when there
is so much evil and suffering in the world?
All these questions and many more are brought to life with clarity and style
in Roy Jackson's The God of Philosophy. The arguments for and against God's
existence are weighed up, along with discussions of the meaning of language,
the concept of God and the possibility of life after death.
Challenging, exciting and always fair, The God of Philosophy is a
comprehensive introduction to the philosophy of religion.
Author Roy Jackson is a lecturer in philosophy and religious studies at
Richmond-upon-Thames College, London. He is the author of Plato: A
Beginner's Guide and Nietzsche: A Beginner's Guide.
