...Joe, i dont think anyone can reasonably see this as a Hermit vs. Joe
situation. i simply beg you to self-edit...and to make your passions
seasoned with calm reflection 95% of the time. i will gladly vote against
your removal if you can make efforts to this end. dont let people get under
your skin so easily...we have all learned lessons about this sort of thing
and we generally figure out when we are making asses of ourselves. i have
done it myself a few times im sure. but i also knew when to stop and
control my passions for a better outcome - to seperate myself personally
from the opinions that i held such that i wouldnt invite anger into my
posts. tit for tat or 'he did it first' really shouldnt be the issue here.
righteousness is lost in the eyes of our peers when we make it easy for them
to just see the annoying volitility that our passions can bring.

...that David has totally lost control of this list, and that his law
against flaming attacks does not mean jack shit to the slandering
Hermitian Minions. This being the case, it is better that it die
completely than that it limp along like a memetically infested and
diseased Frankenstinian juggernaut behemoth, which seems its
unavoidable fate if the memebotic Hermit is allowed to complete his
ongoing coronation by bigoted majority acclamation as List Pope.
David is clearly afraid to enforce his own law, or if he enforces
any edict whatsoever, it will most likely be unjustly, to exonerate the
lynch mob, rather than to rescue the railridden man, that is, if he proves
to be no less subject to the tide of unjust cult popularity than anyone
else (but a few here) seem to be.
Just GIVE the list to Hermit, David; he seems unwilling to
establish his own...because you know in your heart of hearts that I have
mightily endeavored to be reasonable since you laid down your law,
and have received nothing but abuse for same. But, if you do so, it is
you who will have to live with the fact that you acquiesced in a list
perfidy for the sake of popularity among dogmatic thug bullies. If you
possess a conscience, which I think you do, that should make sleeping
    at night rather difficult.
