I'm glad you haven't given weight training the evil label yet!

Hot yoga is actually "Bikram yoga", done in a hot (105 deg F) room for
more sweating and easier stretching. Bikram yoga is a specific series
of poses, apparently (I'm still researching!)

I see somewhere in my googling that it is Hatha yoga.

    www.bikramyoga.com

    And from bikramyoganyc.com,

"Bikram yoga is a demanding, 26 pose (asana) series. This is conducted
in a heated room to warm up your whole body, and allows you to work deep
into your muscles, tendons and ligaments to change your body from the
inside out. Bikram yoga is a process that can reduce the symptoms of
many chronic diseases, and is an excellent preventative activity for
parts of the body that are healthy. The class is designed for all
levels, first time students and experienced practitioners alike. In
time, you'll learn to focus your mind and control your breath, leading
you to work harder, deeper, and calmer. As you improve this
relationship you will realize the true meaning of yoga: a union of the
body, mind and spirit. Bikram yoga increases flexibility, improves
circulation and reduces stress, to provide and infinite number of
    benefits."
