...at this point, it's just the lesser of two evils. who are we kidding
here?...the vast majority of the voting public are complete morons who are,
by definition, incapable of making a wise choice. the candidates who are
out to woo them, are sufficiently more intelligent, wealthy, manipulative
and well-connected such that it is no challenge at all for them to tell them
what they want to hear whilst secretly laughing at them behind their backs.
if there are people that would truly make good leaders, they can never win
because the voting public dont think for themselves, and arent sufficiently
savvy to see the true intentions of the more nasty variety of candidate.

...if i were running for president of 'chimpanzee-land' and i proposed
numerous well planned out, well intentioned, progressive plans for seriously
improving the lives of all chimps...i would be defeated by the first crooked
chimp offerring a free banana to everyone that votes for him.

THE MORAL: a chimp is only capable of making the best decision HE can
    understand.

The question is whether choosing between two rich yale classmates who are
equally talented washington pimps offers any opportunity for progress.

Will Kerry take a stand for progress? Or will he continue to do things like
help slash FDA regulations to allow more mercury in tuna? (Heinz owns
    Star-Kist)

...i feel that large scale progress is made in tiny tiny
increments(unfortunately). so while it is good to have Nader participating
and putting some thoughts out there for people to consider, the gleaming
beacon of evil is brighter than ever right now...embodied in the 'dubya'.
this evil must be cast out first and foremost before we should play around
with dividing our votes. i sincerely hope he doesnt affect the outcome as
he did the last time around. we cannot sustain another 4 yrs of this guy
    auctioning off this countries people.

I'm sure by now most of you heard that Nader is going to run for president
again this year. Thought maybe some of you would like to discuss and give
your opinion on how this might effect the upcoming election. :) Just
something to get a good conversation going.
