Very cool game.
It's massively multiplayer, highly strategic, and it takes only 10 minutes a day to play, so it doesn't eat into a busy schedule.
The game was falling apart before the players formed a coalition to buy it and save it... Since then it's been fast and functional and better than before.
The best part of the game is the intricate diplomacy it teaches you and the tight-knit community of players.
It's purely web based and there's no “god problem” like there is in other mmorpg's.

Very recently, a critical change in the path of Evernight has occurred. The company Evernight, LLC has purchased the game of Evernight from Jaleco Entertainment with the primary purpose of player, community and game development. This company is owned and headed by two veteran players from the Evernight community who are known as Dranden and Maximus Prime.
As a welcome back incentive we are offering you three free games. Here is how it works: Go to the site, www.evernightgame.com and login, you may use your existing alias or register a new one. If you would like to reactivate an old alias, that is allowed and encouraged. If you would like to start a new account, that is fine too. Both account types are included in the free offer. We ask that you only register one "free" status account at a time. If starting a new account make sure to look for the EN test, The Inquisition. If you pass it with 7/10 correct you are awarded 4 points and can move directly to the advanced game list.
While in free status you can pick any three games to join from a list that will be provided. The list will be representative of all game types available in EN. The list will changed weekly. You will have 30 days once registered to pick your three free games. Once selected, you have until those three games finish in free mode. You can interact normally within the three games you choose with all of the benefits of a subscribed member. You will also have access to community Newsgroups where you can read up on the latest in EN. Once you decide to subscribe you will be able to play up to 8 games at a time from the full play list and post in the community Newsgroups.
We now have Paypal, money orders and Discover card as an option for payment in addition to the standard Visa/Mastercard options.
We ask if you would like to replay MFEG that you contact us via e-mail at admin@evernightgame.com once you are registered. This option is recommended only for those who did not complete the MFEG as this is exclusively a beginner's format.
