RE: virus: Response to Joe Dees. "Is the US a Rogue Nation?"

A good example of this is the US based Anti Defamation League [1]. This
group have decided to take it upon themselves to "out" anti-semites, or
those they feel are being anti-semitic. In actual fact, a great deal of this
is utter political nonsense. If you want to destroy someone socially or
politically, it makes sense to have an established group denounce them as
racist. Its bloody hard to prove you aren't racist, and simply puts the onus
on the individual/organisation to provide evidence to the contrary.

They have even complied a list of Graphic and even numerical symbols of
racism. [2]

For example, the confederate flag is described as being "used by racists as
an alternative to the American flag, which they consider to be an emblem of
what they describe as the Jewish-controlled government"

But more bizarrely, the number 83 has allegedly racist connotations because
"The eighth letter of the alphabet is H and the third letter is C, thus 83
stands for "Heil Christ," a greeting used by racist organizations that
consider themselves also to be Christian."

Interestingly also, under their website heading of "STATE SPONSORED
TERRORISM", only Arab nations appear, and Israel doesnt get a mention for
its clear oppression of the Palestinians including the use of torture and
assasinations for political motives. [3}

Even famous names such as George Clooney [4], David Icke [5] have been
labelled "anti-semitic" by the ADL which of course publishes damning
information freely. They feel that it is OK to do so without trial or open
debate about the issue, and of course labelling someone an anti-semite means
they have to attempt to prove themselves innocent of the charge...a
seemingly impossible task, and possibly why so few take the ADL on for
slander/libel.

There are various articles online which relate to other more interesting
(and often corrupt goings on) involving the ADL [6]

Personally, I feel that Civil Liberties groups should work to highlight
injustices in society not in individual's personal opinions. In a
democracy, every person is entitled to his or her own political beliefs,
whether these be extremist or not. Whether these beliefs become a
justification for crime is a different matter entirely. In my opinion, to
label a person as a racist with the direct intention being character
assasination, it is very much a defamation in itself, and requires little or
no evidence to back up the claim when the person responsible would have to
take the matter to court themselves to clear their name, thus putting the
onus on them to provide evidence to support their case that they are NOT
racist! This is a very difficult task as one could imagine, and explains why
many may feel it is not worth the hassle, cost or public exposure. I think
groups like this are dangerous, and civil liberties groups should take steps
to prevent intrusion, not cause it, and to question what is at the heart of
injustice...which is division within the law.

....i've recently come to an incredibly un-P.C. conclusion...brace
yourselves: Hitler was the best thing that ever happened to the Jews.

there, i said it. tell me im wrong....because of him they are no longer
much-despised pilgrims spread about the world, oft the target of societal
hatred(since they hold all others in quiet distain). they got a
country(albeit a poorly placed one for their personalities), endless
comiseration, an apparently unending and irrational degree of sympathy,
infinite martyrdom, public fear of being labelled an anti-semite(.."the poor

jews..." etc), and a modern post on the 'untouchables' list of world
political and social entities. after all, the insult of referring to
someone as "the Hitler" of this or that is wide-spread as the definition of
'evil'....which boosts the jews into quite an elevated and "sensitive"
position. everyone wants on their bandwagon...the local 'good ride' of
morality.

[Blunderov insists]
"Israel" has long and long used its population as a military weapon. In the
beginning it was summoned from the four corners of the globe and illegally
infiltrated into Palestine after WW2 where it remained as a brazen fait
accompli. Even now they are used for the military purpose of seizing and
holding additional valuable water resources and territory in Palestine,
strenuously claiming all the while to be peaceful civilians and therefore
morally absolved from military penalty.

Perhaps the Palestinians don't care if you and other Americans think they
are terrorists? Perhaps they consider themselves to be waging war by the
only means at their disposal against a perfectly legitimate target?

The fluffy little meme; "civilians are not a legitimate military target"
seems to have been, throughout recorded history, "honoured more in the
breach than the observance" Another, more usually observed, convention is
the one that holds all to be fair in love and war. Yet another holds that
"the friend of my enemy is [em]my[/em] enemy".
