Thanks letheomaniac. You have a great dad, a scholar and a gentleman. I hope
you have as much fun distributing it as I had writing it. It will amuse me
to think of it freaking folk out on the other side of the world almost as
much as had I been there. You may find two other expressions handy. "I
didn't clamber to the top of the food chain to eat vegetables" and "I am a
vegetarian (between meals)"

PS My Xhosa was nooit vlot nie, so ek vra vir jou verskooning as ek in
Afrikaans antwoord (nog 'n taal wat ek gou besig is om te vergeet). In elk
