foster growth and self enabling community behavior?
Why, because they are far fewer Fortune500 return global bucks in the
'nation-building' forum than there are in the industrial-military complex
arena. Like Orwell once said, "War is Peace"

Tell it Kirk, tell it. (Where else could the amazing magic bullet
have been built after all?)

Whilst on the subject of the US Apparently Going To War, I have to wonder
whether it isn't still technically necessary for a country to have some sort
of good reason for attacking another country. If a war is declared
over, then surely some new reason is required to restart the
proceedings?

Doubtless one will be furnished. Or not.

Tangentially, I experienced very considerable misgivings when I saw Alfred
E. Neuman, sorry I mean George Bush, wearing a black leather bomber jacket
for his starring role in a recent CNN disinfotainment extravaganza. Why is
it that black leather military ensembles make me nervous? (Oddly I would be
less nervous if there was a purple squid-whip in the vicinity.)
