One of those self evident but rarely defined concepts. Nebulous to most,
hard to swallow for the rest, originating in the genre of "hey look, the
emperor has no clothes" kind of qualification.

Does the person, at the age of majority represent a net sum behavioural gain
for society? If not, somebody screwed up. Does the new addition detract from
the advance of the human condition? If so, somebody screwed up.

Must there be a point to mere existence? Yup. Get off your duff and make the
human condition a better thing, in whatever way. The moment you become a
deficit spending trend to the resources of your community, somebody screwed
up. That is not to say that people need help and will tax community
resources. That is part of the human condition. But this kind of deviance
should be the exception, not the rule we see it as today.

How's that saying go "Freedom isn't free". Well, If you gonna show props
for the peeps on a grand scale, don't pollute the gene pool with Soilent
Brown by breeding cuz ya think it's an inalienable right. Earn it! Learn it.
Then yearn it.

[Hermit] If pipe dreaming (which this is (for supportable but hopefully
self-evident reasons) in a democracy with an unqualified franchise) why just

qualify on intelligence?...

[Kirk] Nods. Was trolling with incomplete assertions. Escrow pool is a much
better system. "IQ" is too subjective and irrespective of the social
domains. (right GATOR Mon' ?) But it is a damned good launching point. Say
x(bar) plus 10% tau as a minimum for the first 6 generations then back down
to x(bar) as an IQ minima prereq for breeding license along with the rest of
the social escrow pool. Then there is the matter of exotoxic meme screening.
ugh................ Better build external controls into the breeding
schema. "It takes a tribe."

Re recessives, we need a few of those in the mix to maintain variation.
Otherwise stagnation lowers tolerance to environmental variation and
threatens viability of the species en toto.

Progress comes from the forefront of knowledge. If you're not thinking on
the edge, you're taking up space. Get out the way!
