virus: Abuse of power or playful bickering?

    Does this kind of behavior appear to be abuse of power? Or is it just
    playful bickering? Should we tolerate, condone, discourage, or condemn such
    behavior?

    In a nutshell, the sequence of events looks to me like:
    Hermit joins.
    Hermit insults mermaid with a topic change.
    Mermaid retorts.
    Hermit kicks mermaid.

    Do I have it about right here? Any thoughts, suggestions? Moderations for
    the chat maybe?
